She was an early adopter and educator in the use of insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), inhaled insulin, and intensive insulin therapy, helping patients achieve precise glucose control with advanced technology.
In 2005, Colette was among the first nutrition professionals to recognize the clinical promise of GLP-1 and GIP receptor agonists, foreseeing their profound impact on weight management, metabolic health, and longevity well before they became standard in endocrinology.
